Our Story

Our Happy Place is a not-for-profit organization founded by two local women who recognized a significant gap in services available for adults with special needs in their community. Motivated by compassion and a deep understanding of the challenges faced by these individuals and their families, they came together to create a space where inclusion, support, and joy are at the heart of everything.

With years of experience supporting individuals with a wide range of exceptionalities, the founders have built a program grounded in empathy, dignity, and empowerment. Their goal was simple: to create a place where every member feels valued, seen, and celebrated.

Our Board of Directors
Our organization is supported by a dedicated board of directors who bring a diverse range of expertise in social services, education, healthcare, and community development. Together, they guide Our Happy Place with integrity, vision, and a shared commitment to making a lasting impact.
